untitled 2.0: A Juried Exhibition

This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years of age and over. All works must be original and completed in the last three years and not previously exhibited at Athens Arts Gallery. Accepted works may not be withdrawn by the artist prior to the close of the exhibition.

Artists may submit up to 3 works for a $35 non-refundable entry fee. Both 2D and 3D works are accepted, including sculpture, photography, painting, printmaking, digital art, fiber, mixed media, drawings, and pottery. Maximum dimensions for 2D works are 6' x 6' framed with a weight limit of 50 pounds. Maximum dimensions for 3D works are 8' x 4' x 4' with a weight limit of 100 pounds. All works must be maintenance free and available for sale (40% commission). Digital submissions must be JPEG or JPG format, under 5MB, with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Detailed descriptions of media and support materials are required, limited to 250 words.

The exhibition runs September 25 - November 13, 2021. Entry deadline is midnight MST, Sunday, August 8, 2021. Notifications will be sent no later than Monday, August 23. Shipped delivery dates are September 13-17; in-person delivery is September 12-13. The opening reception and awards presentation will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Awards include $1000 Best of Show plus other monetary awards.
