About This Call
Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to an online exhibition titled UNTAMED, celebrating the untamed spirit of the animal kingdom. The exhibition seeks artwork that captures the undeniable presence and beauty of creatures, from the majestic to the minute. Artists are encouraged to show the untamed from their perspective.
Submission Requirements: JPEGs are due by Friday, May 16, 2025 at midnight MST. Artists may submit up to 20 total entries at $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry. For 3D work, there is no need to pay for additional entries for detail shots; additional views may be sent by email to [email protected]. Images must be in JPEG/JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. Video submissions are also accepted in MOV, MP4, or WMV formats with specific technical requirements (aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, resolution minimum 640x480, maximum 1920x1080, file size under 100 MB). Work that is copied or done under the guidance of an instructor is not eligible. AI-generated work will not be accepted. Open to all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, and digital art. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image. Work previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits is not eligible.
Awards and Notification: All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, June 13, 2025. The exhibition is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. Artists receive 100% of sales. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists. Cash awards over $600 are subject to federal income tax withholding; winners must submit a W-9 form.
