About This Call
The University of Oregon is seeking artworks for installation at the University Health Counseling and Testing Center (UHCTC), located at the Southwest corner of 13th Avenue and Agate Street on the Eugene campus. This is a Request for Qualifications for artist proposals demonstrating professional standing and capacity to work on this project, as well as proposals for preexisting or newly commissioned artworks.
The total budget for artworks and all associated costs is $70,000.00, which must include all development, fabrication, delivery, installation, permitting fees, and related costs. Proposals may be for commissioned works, preexisting works, or any combination of both. Works of art should contribute to a safe and welcoming environment for students, visitors, and the University community, reinforcing the mission of the UHCTC as the primary resource for health and wellness resources on campus.
Submissions must include 5-20 images, and may include up to 2 audio files and 2 video files. All submissions must be processed through the Café website. Specific dimensional information and renderings of installation sites are available in Appendix A at https://pcs.uoregon.edu/content/business-opportunities (Solicitation Number: CP17-065).
