Unity at the Bemis

Unity at the Bemis is a juried art exhibition running August 4-6, 2017 at the Bemis Building in Seattle. The show is a satellite event running concurrently with the Seattle Art Fair, held two blocks away at the CenturyLink Field Convention Center. The Unity at the Bemis Committee is dedicated to creating culture-building events and uniting regional talent through the promotion of art, catering to a community-centric buyer.

Eligibility is open to artists from Washington and Oregon. Submissions must include 2-20 images. Entry fees are $30 for the first two submissions and $10 for each additional submission. 2D artwork must be delivered ready for installation. 3D artwork must be delivered with a suitable pedestal for display, with pedestals and artwork not exceeding three feet wide or three feet deep. The application deadline is June 30, 2017. Artist notifications will be sent July 7, with art delivery beginning July 14 and final delivery by July 24. The show will be hung by trained staff with security present throughout.

Artists receive 50% of proceeds from sales of their work, with remaining funds donated to Facing Homelessness. The UBC handles all sales transactions.
