Under Pressure: National Printmaking Exhibition

The Lincoln Center Art Gallery will present Under Pressure, a nationally juried exhibition of printmaking artworks as part of Colorado's Month of Printmaking (February 29–April 11, 2020). The exhibition features works in traditional and non-traditional printmaking media including relief printing, lithograph, silkscreen, intaglio, and monoprints. Selections will be made by Guest Juror Mark Lunning, owner and Master Printmaker of Open Press Ltd., a fine art printmaking facility in Colorado.

This call is open to all artists 18 years and older living in the United States. Entries must be original designs completed in the past two years (since January 2018) and not results of class assignments. Submit 1–3 images with a $30 entry fee. Cash awards total $1,500, including a $750 Grand Prize. Accepted artworks must be shipped "installation ready" by February 19–21, 2020, or hand-delivered by February 24, 1–4 p.m. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. Plexiglas framing only (no glass); no Styrofoam peanuts in packaging. Artworks must be available for loan during the entire exhibition period. The Lincoln Center retains a 30% commission on all sales made as a result of the exhibition.
