Under Pressure: 2026 National Printmaking Exhibition

The Lincoln Center Art Gallery will present Under Pressure, a nationally juried exhibition of printmaking artworks as part of Colorado's Month of Printmaking (Mo'Print), March 6–April 24, 2026. The exhibition features works in traditional and non-traditional printmaking media including relief printing, lithography, silkscreen, intaglio, and monoprints. Selections will be made by Guest Juror Johnny Plastini, Associate Professor and Area Coordinator of Printmaking at Colorado State University.

This call is open to all artists 18 years and older living in the United States. Entries must be original works completed in the past two years (since January 2024) and not results of class assignments. Submit 1-3 images with a $35 entry fee. The entry deadline is January 26, 2026. Artists will be notified the week of February 2, 2026. Shipped artwork is due February 23-27, 2026; hand-deliveries are due Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 12–2 p.m. A reception and awards ceremony will be held Saturday, March 7, 4-6 p.m.

Cash awards total $1,500, with a $750 Grand Prize. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance during transit. The Lincoln Center will insure artworks while on premises. Accepted artwork must be shipped installation-ready with appropriate hanging hardware (hanging wire or cleat preferred; no sawtooth hangers). Only Plexiglas framing is accepted for shipped 2D artwork; no glass framing or Styrofoam peanuts. Each artwork must have a label on the back or bottom with the artist's name and title. The Lincoln Center retains a 30% commission on all sales. All accepted artists must sign an Artwork Loan Agreement with the City of Fort Collins.
