About This Call

The Lincoln Center Art Gallery will present Under Pressure, a nationally juried exhibition of printmaking artworks as part of Colorado's Month of Printmaking (Mo'Print), March 2–April 13, 2024. The exhibition features works in traditional and non-traditional printmaking media including relief printing, lithography, silkscreen, intaglio, and monoprints. Selections will be made by Guest Juror Theresa Haberkorn, an award-winning printmaker whose work is held in collections at the Denver Art Museum, Kirkland Museum of Fine & Decorative Art, and Children's Hospital Colorado.

This call is open to all artists 18 years and older living in the United States. Entries must be original designs completed in the past two years (since January 2022) and not results of class assignments. Artists may submit 1–3 images. The entry fee is $35. Total cash awards of $1,500 will be distributed, including a $750 Grand Prize. Artists will be notified the week of January 29, 2024. Shipped artwork is due February 19–23, 2024 (no earlier); hand-deliveries are due Tuesday, February 27, 12–2 p.m.

Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance during transit. All shipments must include a prepaid return shipping label and be shipped in a reusable container. No glass framing or Styrofoam peanuts are permitted. Accepted artwork must be shipped installation-ready with hanging wire or cleats (no sawtooth hangers). Each piece must have a label on the back or bottom with the artist's name and title. The Lincoln Center will insure artworks while on premises and retains a 30% commission on sales. The Lincoln Center reserves the right to use images of accepted artworks for educational and promotional purposes. All accepted artists must sign an Artwork Loan Agreement with the City of Fort Collins. For questions, contact Sarah LaBarre at [email protected] or 970-416-2737.
