About This Call
UnCommon Clay is a juried exhibition of clay artists from the Front Range, showcasing clay artists' signature work. The exhibition is open to clay artists only, with art required to be 90% clay and original work only.
Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 pieces. The deadline for submissions is September 26, 2016. Art will be juried by digital images for exhibition, with award winners selected by the original art and announced at the Opening Reception. Images must be cropped, excluding framing and background, and must represent the work exactly. An image list is required and must include title, media, dimensions, year completed, and price.
Art is due at Arts Longmont Gallery by November 4th at 5pm. The Opening Reception and Awards ceremony is November 11th from 6-9pm. Additional events include a 2nd Friday Event on December 9th from 6-9pm, and the exhibition closes December 23rd. Artists may pick up art December 27th-29th. A 40% commission applies to sales. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up of art to/from the gallery in Longmont, CO, or may ship art with paid return shipping.
