Unclad 2017

NOTICE: This call is closed due to the cancellation of the show by the organizers for business and personal reasons. All artists who have applied will receive a full refund of their application fees from the organizer (66Events LLC).

Unclad 2017 is the 13th annual juried art show celebrating the Nude figure in art. The show will be held March 16-19, 2017 at the Edmonds Yacht Club in Edmonds, WA, just a few minutes north of Seattle. The show welcomes a broad range of styles and approaches to the subject in all mediums (2-D and 3-D). All artwork must be available for sale. Artists of all levels (accomplished and emerging) are encouraged to apply.

Artists can submit up to 5 pieces of art for consideration. The entry fee is $35 (non-refundable). For 2-D work, submit one image of each piece. For 3-D work, submit 3 views of each piece (front, back, side or detail). Images should be high quality, shown in good lighting without distracting backgrounds, large enough to view on a 1280 by 800 screen, and kept under 5 MB each. The show accepts all fine arts media including oils, watercolors, acrylics, drawing, mixed media, wood, stone, metal, photography, ceramics, and glass.

A panel of jurors will select the show from the digital images submitted. All sales will be run through a central sales desk with a 40% commission retained by the organizers; artists will receive a commission check for 60% of all their sales within 2 weeks of the end of the show. Artists are responsible for delivery of work to the show and for picking up any unsold pieces. A handling fee applies if shipping work to the show. The show does not provide insurance for artwork. Accepted artists will be invited to bring additional items (prints, jewelry, etc.) to sell in the gift shop, with a 40% commission on gift shop sales. Images of accepted artwork may be displayed on UncladArtShow.com, social media channels, and printed promotional materials. Entry deadline: January 15, 2017. Notifications will be sent by email February 1, 2017. Art delivery/setup: March 16, 2017, 11 am to 2 pm. Opening during Edmonds Art Walk: March 16, 2017, 5 pm to 8 pm.
