Unbound: Anything Goes

Studio ACE presents Unbound: Anything Goes, a juried exhibition celebrating creativity and expression in all its forms. This open-themed exhibition at ACE Gallery encourages artists to release expectations, defy boundaries, and dive fully into the joy of making. Whether you work in painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, or something entirely experimental, you are invited to submit the work that excites you most.

The exhibition will be juried by members of the Studio ACE Artist Council and special guest juror Laure King, owner of Covet Art Gallery in Oceanside. Three exhibiting artists will be chosen to be showcased in their own group show at ACE Gallery in 2026. All artwork must be original and for sale, with a 60/40 split (60% to artist, 40% to ACE Gallery). Two-dimensional artworks must measure no more than 20 inches in any direction (not including frame; framed artwork no more than 24 inches in any direction). Sculpture must fit on a pedestal with dimensions no more than 14 inches wide, 14 inches deep, and 20 inches high. Artwork requiring electrical connections cannot be accommodated. Shipped artwork must weigh less than 35 pounds including packaging.

Submissions open June 10, 2025 and close August 17, 2025 at midnight PST. Entry fee is $25 for up to three submissions; additional submissions are $10 each. Accepted artists will be notified August 22, 2025. Artwork drop-off is September 12-13, 2025 (11:00am-2:00pm). The exhibition runs September 20 – October 24, 2025, with an opening reception on September 27, 2025 (5:00-7:00pm). Artwork pick-up is October 25, 2025 (11:00am-2:00pm). ACE Gallery does not have art storage; a late pick-up fee of $10 per day applies for artwork not collected during the designated time.
