Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition 2024

The Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition 2024 is open to members of the Texas Society of Sculptors and sculptors who agree to become members prior to August 23, 2024. Artists must be age 18 or older and US residents living and working in the USA. The entry fee is $30. Applicants must submit 3 to 5 images of sculptures representing their work via CaFÉ.

The exhibition will be held at Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, 605 Azie Morton Road, Austin, TX on September 22, 2024. Exhibition hours are 11:00am to 4:00pm. Sculptures must fit in individual display spaces 8 feet wide by 4 feet deep, located under a covered outdoor terrace at the front entrance of the museum. Limited space is also available for larger sculptures on uncovered pavers adjacent to the terrace. Setup is from 8:30am to 10:30am with assigned time slots for unloading. Display work on matching pedestals or tables covered with black cloth. Artists are encouraged to include works in progress and demonstrate their sculpting process. Cash prizes will be awarded for People's Choice awards with two voting periods. Any sales are handled directly between artist and buyer with no commission charged by the Umlauf or TSOS; artists are responsible for collecting and paying Texas sales tax. A kitchen with refrigerator is available for artists. Food trucks will be on site, and live music will be in the Sculpture Garden. Admission to the museum and garden is free.
