Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition 2023

The Texas Society of Sculptors invites members and sculptors who agree to become members prior to September 1st, 2023 to participate in the Umlauf Sculpture Exhibition. Artists must be age 18 or older and US residents living and working in the USA. The exhibition takes place at the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, located at 605 Azie Morton Road in the Zilker neighborhood of Austin, Texas.

Submit 3 to 5 images of sculptures representing your work via CaFÉ. The entry fee is $30. Sculptures exhibited must fit in individual display spaces 8 feet wide by 4 feet deep, located under a covered outdoor terrace at the front entrance of the museum. Limited space is also available for larger sculptures on uncovered pavers adjacent to the terrace. Setup is Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 8:30am to 10:30am, with exhibition hours from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Breakdown begins immediately after 4:00pm.

Display your work on matching pedestals or on a table covered with black cloth. Artists are encouraged to include works in progress and demonstrate their sculpting process. Any sales are handled directly between artist and buyer with no commission charged by the Umlauf or TSOS; artists are responsible for collecting and paying Texas sales tax. Cash prizes will be awarded for People's Choice awards with two voting periods. Free admission to the Sculpture Garden & Museum.
