UMKC National Print Exhibition 2015

UMKC Hand Print Press announces an open call to printmakers for its National Print Exhibition 2015. The exhibition will run from January 22 through February 28, 2015 at the UMKC Gallery of Art. The juror is Dr. Sandra Olsen, director of University of Buffalo Art Galleries.

Eligibility is open to any artist 18 years or older. Submitted work must have been completed after January 2012. Submitted work may incorporate any media as long as it is combined with one or more traditional print media. Work in entirely mechanical processes such as giclee, off-set lithograph, or photography will not be accepted. Digital media may only comprise 50% of the image and must exist in combination with other printmaking media. A maximum of 3 images may be submitted for an entry fee of $35.00. The entry deadline is midnight on September 15th, 2014.

Cash awards totaling $1000 will be distributed. Notifications will begin on October 10th, 2014. Shipped work should be received between November 6-27th, 2014. The opening reception and awards announcement is scheduled for January 22nd, 2015. Return shipping begins March 7-10th, 2015.
