Tubac Sculpture Garden Exhibit

The TCA Sculpture Garden Exhibit is a national juried exhibition of original 3-dimensional art. Sculptural methods including stone, metal, and mixed media are accepted, but must be weather-proof and able to endure 6 months outdoors. The exhibit presents varied works from artists who wish to have their pieces displayed in an outdoor setting within TCA's recently re-conceptualized sculpture garden.

Eligibility and Requirements: All work must be the original creation of the artist and completed within the last 72 months (3 years). Work previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. Sculptures must not exceed 8 feet in height, with bases no larger than 3' x 3' and a circumference of no more than 4'. All artworks must be presentable on a pedestal, cement/brick patio floors, or hung from walls or ceilings. Appropriate hanging or presentation hardware is required. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Artwork must be hand-delivered to Tubac Center of the Arts on or before Monday, October 21, 2024, and picked up on March 31, 2025. No shipped work is accepted. Art not picked up after 3 months will become the property of TCA and may be auctioned or sold with proceeds benefiting TCA.

Timeline and Awards: The exhibition runs October 28, 2024 – March 30, 2025. The opening reception is Friday, November 15, 2024. Jury notifications will be sent Wednesday, October 7, 2024. Juror Corey Randolph Stevens will select awards presented during the opening reception: Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mentions ($50 each). Entry fee is $35 ($32 with TCA Member discount), plus $5 for each additional submission (up to 3 total submissions). Submissions must be in jpg format only.
