Tubac Center of the Arts Open Studio Tour 2020

The Tubac Center of the Arts invites artists to participate in the Open Studio Tour 2020, taking place March 13, 14, and 15, 2020 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This is a marketing opportunity for serious professionals and a supportive environment for new and emerging artists. Artist studios must be located between Sahuarita and Nogales, Arizona, along the I-19 corridor. The tour extends from Nogales in the south to Sahuarita in the north.

Participating artists may contribute one piece to the Open Studio Tour preview exhibition, which runs February 21 to March 15, 2020. All artwork for the exhibition must be received by February 17, 2020. All work in the preview exhibit must be for sale, with TCA retaining a 40% commission. Artists may remove sold work and replace it with like-sized artwork. The preview exhibit is optional with no additional fees beyond the participation fee.

Participation fees are $90 for TCA artist members and $120 for non-members. The entry fee includes tour participation, catalog listing, advertising and promotions, and participation in the preview exhibit with opening reception. Artists may also apply to the annual poster contest for an additional $20 entry fee. The winning poster artist receives free entry fees for the following year's OST and advertising promotion of their image. The original work of the winning poster image must be available for exhibition during the preview exhibit, must be for sale, and the artist should be present to sign posters.
