Tubac Center of the Arts Open Studio Tour 2018

The Tubac Center of the Arts invites artists to participate in the Open Studio Tour 2018, taking place March 16, 17, and 18, 10:00 am-4:00 pm. The tour extends from Nogales in the south to Sahuarita in the north along I-19 and serves as a marketing opportunity for professionals and a supportive environment for emerging talent. The event includes an exhibition, a poster contest, and a studio tour for Santa Cruz Valley artists.

Participating artists are invited to exhibit one piece of art in the Open Studio Tour Preview Exhibit, running January 19 to March 18, 2018. All work in the preview exhibit must be for sale, with TCA retaining a 40% commission. Entry must be original work executed within the last 24 months and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted. The Preview Exhibit opening coincides with TCA's Arizona Aqueous XXXII and Earth exhibitions. Artists must submit high-resolution catalog images (at least 300 dpi) by December 1, 2017 to [email protected].

Entry fees are $110 for non-members and $90 for TCA members, which includes tour participation, catalog listing, advertising and promotions, and participation in the Preview Exhibit with Opening Reception. An optional poster contest entry fee is $20 for up to 2 images. The winning poster artist receives free entry fees for the following year's OST and advertising promotion. A People's Choice Award of $100 is given to the artist whose work in the Preview Exhibit receives the most visitor votes. All fees are non-refundable.
