Tubac Center of the Arts Members' Open 2019

The Tubac Center of the Arts Members' Open is the first exhibition of the 2019-2020 season featuring the outstanding artwork of a varied member/artist community. This opportunity is open to TCA members only. Members must submit one original 2D or 3D artwork executed within the last 24 months that has not been previously shown at TCA. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted. The nonrefundable entry fee is $28. All work must be for sale, and TCA will retain a 40% commission.

The exhibition runs from August 2 to September 1, 2019. Carolyn Robles will jury the Members' Open. Awards will be selected and presented in person during the Opening Reception on August 2, 2019 (5-7pm). Awards include: Best of Show ($200), Award of Excellence ($100), Ursula Suess Abstract Award ($100), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each). The Best of Show winner will receive a solo show in the Studio Gallery from September 6 to October 7, 2019.

Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Shipped art is due by July 26, 2019, and hand-delivered art is due by July 29, 2019. No artwork may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close on Sunday, August 31, 2019, including sold art. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the close of the exhibition.
