About This Call
The Tubac Center of the Arts Member's Juried Exhibition is a highlight of the winter season at TCA and is open to all current members. To become a member of TCA, register on www.Tubacarts.org or call 520-398-2371.
Members may enter up to four 2D or 3D artworks. The nonrefundable entry fee is $30, with $3 for each additional entry. Artwork must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 24 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted. All work must be for sale; TCA will retain a 40% commission. No artwork may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close on Sunday, January 13, 2019, including sold art.
Awards will be selected and presented during the Opening Reception on Friday, December 7, 2018 (5-7pm). Juror David Andres will judge the exhibition. Awards include: Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Ursula Suess Abstract Award ($100), Award of Merit ($100), and Honorable Mention ($50 each). The Best of Show winner will receive a solo show in the Studio Gallery from March 22 to April 21, 2019. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA. Unsold work will be shipped back after the exhibition closes; artists must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of artwork. Hand-delivered art is due by Monday, December 3, 2018; shipped art is due November 26-30, 2018.
