Tubac Center of the Arts: Members Juried Exhibit 2014

Tubac Center of the Arts presents its 45th annual Members' Juried Exhibit, an invitational juried exhibition for artist members. All mediums are accepted. Up to four works may be entered for consideration in digital jpg format only. Entry fee is $32 for the first image and $3 for each additional image.

Eligibility is limited to current members of Tubac Center of the Arts. To become a member, visit www.tubacarts.org and click the "Join Us" button, or call 520-398-2371. Applications are limited to the first 149 applicants. Selected artists will be asked to submit a current bio/resume and artist statement. Entries must be original works executed within the last 24 months and not previously shown at TCA. All artwork must arrive in condition ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission.

The exhibition runs December 5, 2014 through January 19, 2015, with an opening reception on Friday, December 5 from 5-7pm. Shipped artwork is due by November 24-December 1, 2014; hand-delivered artwork is due by December 1, 2014. Unsold work will be shipped back to the artist after the close of the exhibition on January 18, 2015. Artists must provide a preprinted, prepaid barcoded shipping label for return of artwork. Awards include Best of Show ($300), Award of Excellence ($200), Award of Merit ($100), Ursula Suess Abstract ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($50 each).
