Tubac Center of the Arts: Members Juried Exhibit 2013

Tubac Center of the Arts presents its 44th annual Members' Juried Exhibit, an invitational juried exhibition for artist members of Tubac Center of the Arts. All mediums are accepted. Applications on CAFE are limited to the first 149 applicants. Selected artists will be asked to submit a current bio/resume and artist statement. To enter, members must use the invitational passcode TCAMJE2013 after logging in. Any submissions by nonmembers will be disqualified without refund. Entry Fee: $30 for the first image, $3 for each additional image (up to 4 entries total). Up to four works may be entered for consideration in jpg format only. Entries must be original work executed within the last 24 months and not previously shown at TCA. All artwork must arrive ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry that does not meet these requirements.

Timeline: Applications accepted August 1, 2013. Entry deadline November 1, 2013. Jury notifications week of November 11, 2013. Shipped art due December 26-30, 2013; hand-delivered art due December 30, 2013. Opening reception January 3, 2014, 5-7pm. Pick up of unsold art February 3, 2014. No art may be removed prior to the close of the exhibition on February 2, 2014. Awards: Best of Show $300, Award of Excellence $200, Award of Merit $100, Ursula Suess Abstract $100, Honorable Mention $50 (two awards). All work must be for sale; TCA retains a 40% commission. Artists are responsible for delivery/shipping and must provide a prepaid shipping label for return of unsold artwork.
