Tubac Center of the Arts 19 Exhibition

The 19 Exhibition features artists along the I-19 arts corridor from Nogales to South Tucson. Artists must live for at least part of the year south of 29th Street (West of Kolb and East of Kenney Rd) in Tucson, the Pascua Yaqui Xavier and Tohono Oo'dham nations, City of South Tucson, Sahuarita, Green Valley, Amado, Tubac, Tumacacori-Carmen, Rio Rico, and Nogales. Artists from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base are eligible. This exhibition accepts 2D and 3D art objects, as well as video.

Entry fee is $28.00, with an additional $3.00 media fee for additional entries. Submit 1-3 work samples (images and/or video). Artwork must be original, entirely the work of the artist, executed within the last 12 months, and cannot have been previously shown at TCA. Giclee reproductions are not permitted. All artwork must arrive in a condition ready to professionally display or hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted (white, black or neutral colors preferred), simply framed and firmly wired. No saw tooth hangers. All work must be for sale; TCA will retain a 40% commission.

The exhibition runs September 8 to October 22, 2017, at the Tubac Center of the Arts. Opening reception is September 8, 2017, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Shipped art is due September 1, 2017; hand-delivered art is due by September 4, 2017. Art must be picked up by October 22, 2017; shipped art will be returned the following week. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA and must provide a prepaid barcoded shipping label for return of artwork.
