Tubac Center for the Arts Arizona Aqueous XXXIII

A national juried exhibition for water-based pigments on paper. Eligible entries include paper constructions, paper sculpture, paper collage, cut paper, mobiles, two or three dimensional wall pieces, and installations. Work must be innovative in concept and approach, whether representational or abstract, and completed within the last 24 months. Work previously displayed at TCA is not eligible. All work must be original and entirely the creation of the artist. Giclee reproductions printed on canvas are not permitted.

Up to four works may be entered for consideration. Entry fee is $36 ($32 with TCA Member discount), with an additional $5 per entry image for entries beyond the first ($3 with member discount). All artwork must arrive ready to hang. If framed, work must be suitably matted in white, black, or neutral colors, simply framed, and firmly wired with no sawtooth hangers. TCA reserves the right to disqualify any selected entry that does not meet presentation requirements or is deemed unsuitable for display.

Awards include Best of Show ($1,000), Juror's Award ($500), Award of Excellence ($250), Award of Merit ($100), and two Honorable Mention awards ($75 each). Juror is Svitlana Malyukova. All work must be for sale, with TCA retaining a 40% commission. No art may be removed from the exhibit prior to the close on Sunday, February 24, 2019, including sold work. Artists are responsible for shipping to and from TCA and must provide a barcoded prepaid shipping label for return of unsold artwork.
