About This Call
The TroyFest Art & Craft Festival, held in honor of Jean Lake, is the premier fine art & craft festival for the central Alabama region taking place April 25 & 26, 2026. The weekend-long show draws upwards of 10,000 people to downtown Troy to celebrate the arts, offering a wonderful selection of art, food, entertainment, and activities for people of all ages. Check-in is Friday night (4/24) and Saturday morning, with festival hours Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 10-4.
TroyFest exhibiting artists are exclusive to handcrafted, original works of art (artists' prints permitted) and all artists must be accepted to exhibit. Exhibitors are selected by a jury committee based on submitted images and application, with qualifications including quality, originality and creativity. A limited number of artists per category will be accepted to provide a balanced show. Items must be made by artist exhibiting at the show - no commercially made items allowed.
The festival offers $4,000 in juried cash awards including Best of Show ($1,000 plus solo exhibit), first place awards ($500 each for Fine Arts, Craft, and Jean Lake Folk Art), and merit awards ($125 each) across 10 categories. Artist amenities include the Friends of Jean Lake Purchase Program (approximately $5,000 in guaranteed art sales), vendor hospitality areas, booth sitters, continental breakfast, artist BBQ, pull-up load in/out, free parking, and special hotel rates. Booth space is $125 for 10'x15' outdoor space, with electricity available for $75. Application deadline is March 1 with a $15 jury fee, and late applications accepted after March 1 with $50 late fee.
