Tributary II

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery invites artists to interpret the theme "Tributary II: Flow from Humanity" and explore the boundless and flowing notions this theme conjures. Tributaries symbolize connection, confluence, community, clean water, health, and more. Artists are encouraged to enter work in any interpretation of the call. All mediums are welcome. This call emphasizes the idea of growth, expansion, breath, and humanity.

The competition is open to all 2D and 3D artists, national and international, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older. For wall-mounted works, maximum dimensions are 50" tall by 50" wide; larger works will only be considered for the 3D Virtual Gallery. Entry fee is $25.00 for 2 artworks submitted as digital JPG images. Additional images may be entered for an extra $5.00 media fee per image, up to 6 total images. Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon, with an opening reception at the gallery's brick and mortar location. The exhibition will be published on the gallery website and artists will be featured in blog posts and social media. All exhibitions remain on the Verum Ultimum website after the exhibition closes.

Submission deadline is February 27, 2025. Artists will be notified of acceptance by March 15, 2025 via email. Accepted artwork should be shipped to: JG Cutshall, Verum Ultimum Art Gallery, 1513 SE 42nd Ave, Portland OR 97215. Hand delivery is available; email [email protected] to arrange. Exhibition dates are April 2025. All works in the show must be for sale; the gallery takes a 35 percent commission on sales. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
