Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts: Sundance Mountain Sculpture Exhibition

The Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (TLCA) invites artists from Colorado and across the United States to submit entries for a juried sculpture exhibition running October 5-29, 2010. TLCA is located in Palmer Lake, Colorado, nestled in the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains below Sundance Mountain, conveniently situated between Denver and Colorado Springs.

This exhibition is open to all artists with original art or limited editions (not mass-produced). Artists who have had work accepted by TLCA in the previous 12 months are not eligible. Sculptures must not exceed 6 feet tall by 5.5 feet wide, with a maximum weight of 300 pounds. Artwork submitted must be ready to exhibit and available for sale. TLCA takes a 30% commission on sales, with payment sent to artists by the 15th of the following month.

Registration and digital images must be submitted by September 7, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. Entry fee is $30 for up to 3 pieces, with additional pieces at $10 each. Artists will be notified of acceptance by September 13. Delivery is October 3-4, with a reception on Saturday, October 9 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Pick-up is October 30 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Awards include Best of Show ($1,000) plus additional awards.
