About This Call
Trees of Life is an exhibition seeking works of art that capture the vibrant life force inherent within trees. All artwork related to trees will be reviewed and considered for the exhibition. Trees are a reflection of time, strength, survival, beauty, and life.
Entry deadline is May 9, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $35.00. Submissions must include a minimum of 1 image and maximum of 1 image. Selected artists will be notified by May 13, 2016. Artwork must be received by May 28, 2016. The exhibition will hang from June 1 through June 30, 2016, with an artist reception on June 18 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Artwork must be received ready to hang or display with a maximum weight of 50 lbs. Artists are responsible for shipping costs and must include a return shipping prepaid postage label. All artwork must remain on display during the entire show unless sold. Location 1980 retains a 30% commission on any work sold during the exhibition. Location 1980 reserves the right to reject any work that does not meet quality standards or does not match the images supplied by the artist. Jury selection will be conducted by Jesse Fortune, master plein air painter, and Geoffrey Winnie, architect and plein air painter.
