TREES AND FLOWERS

The MVA Gallery (Modern Visual Arts) invites artists, photographers, and sculptors of all levels to submit original artwork to this exhibition. The gallery seeks artwork exploring the beauty of trees and flowers in life and art. Trees and flowers can appear in expansive vistas or intimate close-ups, in bloom, in transition, or in decay. Images may include human figures, wildlife, or structures in natural, artificial, or urban settings. No restrictions exist on style and technique—artwork can be representational or abstract, lucid or mysterious, muted or colorful, harmonious or chaotic, familiar or exotic, real or imagined.

Accepted mediums include painting, watercolor, printmaking, mixed media, digital, pastel, encaustic, sculpture, fiber, drawing, and photography. The MVA Gallery is located in historic Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, one hour from New York City. Entry fee is $35.00 for 3 images, with additional images available for $5.00 each up to 9 maximum. All images must be submitted as JPEG files under 5 MB with a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side. Artwork must be professionally finished and ready for secure installation with stretched wire attached to the back. Paintings should not exceed 48 inches (framed) on the longest side and must not weigh more than 45 lbs. Sculpture should not exceed 24 inches on any dimension. Photographs should be framed in black or white frames if presented traditionally.

Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance by email on or about September 5, 2025. Accepted artwork must arrive at the gallery no later than October 6, 2025. The exhibition runs October 9 - November 6, 2025. Awards include an "Art of Distinction" Award featuring a special exhibit, an Annual Grand Prize offering a New York City exhibition opportunity, and a Director's Choice Award of $200. For accepted work, artists receive 70% of the final sale price and the gallery retains 30%. Artists retain all rights to submitted images and artwork.
