Tree Stories

Tree Stories is a juried exhibition exploring the diverse narratives surrounding trees, including their cultural significance, ecological importance, and personal connections. The Sasse Museum of Art welcomes submissions from artists worldwide in all artistic mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media, and installation art. AI-generated art is not accepted. Only artwork that significantly explores the theme of "Tree Stories" will be considered for selection.

Selected artworks will be showcased in an online gallery on the Sasse Museum of Art website and a printed version will be offered for sale through Amazon. Artists will receive widespread exposure through museum publications and media coverage. The exhibition offers inaugural prize money to the top three artists: Best in Show ($250), Juror's Choice ($150), and Founder's Choice ($100). Jurors will select artwork based on originality, artistic merit, and relevance to the exhibition theme.

Entry deadline is July 28, 2024. Entry fee is $30 for the first submission and $15 for each additional entry (up to 10 submissions maximum). Sasse Museum of Art Members receive a 50% discount. Image submissions must be a minimum of 3 MB at 300 pixels per inch (ppi) resolution. Images that are not the correct size or resolution or are out of focus will be rejected. The exhibition is open to artists worldwide, regardless of age or experience.
