TREE: Breath of Humanity

Verum Ultimum Art Gallery invites artists to interpret the theme "Tree" and explore the boundless notions this word conjures. Trees are essential to all life and symbolize growth, connection, community, spirit, air, and family. Artists are encouraged to enter work in any interpretation of the call, exploring themes of growth, expansion, breath, and humanity. All mediums are welcome.

Selected artists will be featured in a group exhibition at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery in Portland, Oregon from February 15th through March 22nd, with an opening reception at the gallery's brick and mortar location. The exhibition will be published on the Verum Ultimum Gallery website, and artists will be featured in blog posts and social media. All exhibitions remain on the website after closing. Artists will be notified of acceptance by email no later than January 30, 2025.

Eligibility: Open to 2D and 3D artists, national and international, ages 18 and older, working in painting, drawing, photography, graphics, digital, and sculpture. Wall-mounted works must not exceed 50" in height or width. Entry fee is $25.00 for up to 2 artworks submitted as digital JPG images; additional fees apply for entries of 3-6 images. All works in the show must be for sale, with the gallery taking a 35 percent commission. Artists retain all copyrights to their work.
