About This Call
The 4th annual Traverse City Spring Art & Craft Show takes place at Sunset Park, a centrally located park on Grand Traverse Bay on Front Street. Located on busy US31, the event draws from both tourists and affluent local homeowners along the bay and peninsula. This boutique show features no more than 70 artist/vendors with booths located on grass in Open Space, the biggest park along the bay. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry, and all work is reviewed by a panel of qualified experts who select the top artists according to their skill and quality of work.
The two-day show runs Saturday and Sunday, May 31 and June 1, 2025, from 10am to 5pm daily. Application fee is $15 before February 1st, $25 after. Booth fees are $275 for standard spaces, $350 for corner booths, and $550 for double booths. New for this year is optional Friday setup from noon until 5pm. Amenities include complimentary bottled water daily, coffee and pastries each morning while they last, free vendor parking, and booth sitters.
Accepted categories include ceramics, accessories/clothing, digital art, drawing, fiber, food/gourmet, glass, graphic & printmaking, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, soap/bath-body products, sculpture, wood, and other. All exhibitor tents must be white, and booth spaces are approximately 10' x 10' on grass with uneven ground. The event features extensive advertising and marketing including digital marketing, social media, print ads, radio ads, and local promotional materials.
