Travelogues: Juried Photography Exhibition

Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan is accepting submissions for Travelogues: Juried Photography Exhibition. Michigan artists are invited to submit original works of art created with photographic media that relate to ideas of travel. Work must have been completed in the past five years. Creative and experimental approaches to the theme or media are welcome. This opportunity is open to artists 18 and older working in photography and photography-related media who are based in Michigan.

Submissions must include 3-6 images. Entry fee is $35.00 per artist for the first three entries (CTAC members $20.00, Guild Members free). Additional entries are $5 each. A $5.00 media fee applies. Entries must be submitted online between June 6 - July 22, 2022. Notification will be sent by Friday, August 5, 2022. The exhibition will be on display in Petoskey's Bonfield Gallery from September 17 to November 5, 2022.

$1000 in prizes will be awarded: First Place $500, Second Place $300, Third Place $200. Artists are responsible for transporting work to and from Crooked Tree Arts Center through shipping or in-person drop-off and pick-up. Work must be delivered between September 3-10, 2022 during posted gallery hours. If shipping, artwork must arrive with a return shipping label. Unsold artwork must be picked up during gallery hours on November 8-12, 2022, or by appointment. Works delivered with return shipping arrangements will be sent by November 14, 2022. Crooked Tree Arts Center retains a 40% commission on all sales. Works do not have to be for sale.
