Trans Art Fest

TRANS ART FEST is a festival dedicated to supporting, connecting, and celebrating trans artists. We work to:
- Celebrate trans art and artists in galleries, art spaces, and streets
- Connect trans artists to NYC audiences, patrons, gallerists, and to each other
- Provide event space, promotion, and opportunities for trans artists
- Infuse NYC with more trans art & culture
- Connect trans artists of all kinds to each other to strengthen the web of community both within and beyond the art world

The first year of Trans Art Fest will take place in Spring of 2026, and will feature a number of all-trans exhibitions and events at art spaces throughout New York City, including: Eleventh Hour Art, Established Gallery, Neptune in June, the Textile Arts Center, the Puffin Foundation, and more. The time frame for exhibitions is April - May 2026.

We welcome all trans artists in New York City and the surrounding areas to submit work to our 2026 open call. To be considered, artists must be able to drop off and pick up work in person. Email [email protected] with any questions.

The deadline for our Open Call- Art for Exhibitions is February 1, 2026 at midnight.

Trans artists of all kinds are welcome to propose an event to be presented within and among our gallery exhibitions. We’re looking for reading nights, performances, screenings, panel discussions, workshops, and more. Most events will take place within participating galleries or in our outdoor exhibition in a NYC community garden.

You can also propose an event that has a confirmed venue outside of our participating galleries.
