About This Call
Gallerium presents Tranquillum - 2024, a dual exhibition and publication exploring diverse interpretations of tranquility through art. The theme invites artists to delve into inner peace and inspire contemplation through their artistic creations. Subject matter is free to interpret, with possibilities including landscape tranquility (serene nature scenes), still life tranquility (everyday objects conveying calmness), human portraits and connections (peacefulness of human faces and relationships), inner tranquility (imaginative explorations of peace and harmony), and abstract tranquility (shapes, colors, and textures expressing the calming essence of tranquillum). All abstract and representational interpretations in any 2D and 3D art medium are welcomed.
Selected artworks will be exhibited in the Tranquillum international online exhibition running from April 23 to June 23, 2025. A subset of selected artworks may be published in The Book of Arts: Tranquillum, available in digital and premium print editions reaching art experts, galleries, curators, businesses, and collectors. All exhibited works will be available for viewing and sale through the online showcase. Selected works will also be showcased on ARTSY, one of the leading platforms for art collectors worldwide. Up to 10 outstanding artists will receive a personalized distinguished artist award digital certificate. All selected artists will receive a digital certificate of participation, exhibition poster, artwork visibility badges, and a complimentary professional artist profile on the Biafarin platform. Artists will receive visitor feedback, detailed performance reports with analytics on exhibition visits and engagement, and participate in a comprehensive promotional campaign.
Submission is free of charge. Up to 6 artworks can be submitted, with a maximum of 2 artworks selected per artist. Selected artists pay a fixed selection fee of USD 40 (or USD 34 with early bird 15% discount). A money-back guarantee is available for all selection fee payments until the exhibition's official opening day. The jury process uses two phases: Yes/No selection followed by a scoring model where each jury member scores artworks from 1 to 10, with highest-scoring artworks in the "Yes" group selected. This opportunity is open to all visual artists worldwide.
