TRAHC's 36th Annual Juried Exhibition

TRAHC's 36th Annual Juried Exhibition is open to international artists. The exhibition runs from June 21 - August 10, 2024, at TRAHC in Texarkana, Texas. Entry deadline is May 18, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries, payable by credit card through Callforentry.org.

Submissions may include 1-3 images (JPEG format, minimum 1920 pixels on longest side, 72 ppi, 3 MB maximum) and/or 0-3 videos (WMV, MOV, or MP4 format, minimum 640x480, maximum 100 MB). All works must be original, completed, and ready to hang or display. Accepted artwork must be delivered by June 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. via FedEx or UPS with pre-paid return shipping labels, or by hand delivery by appointment with Kay Thomas at [email protected]. Shipping and insurance costs are the artist's responsibility. Reusable shipping containers only; no packing peanuts allowed. All paintings must be framed or stretched on stretcher bars. Two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under Plexiglas (glass acceptable for pastel at artist's risk). Sculptures must have felt pads attached to the bottom. Video work must include its own equipment.

Judging occurs in two phases: May 20-22, 2024 for initial selection, and in-person judging after artwork arrives. Notification of acceptance will be emailed by May 23, 2024. Winners will be announced at the opening reception on June 21, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Awards include: Yates Collection Purchase Award $2,000 (regional artists within 100 miles of Texarkana only), Best of Show $1,000, First Place $750, Second Place $500, TXK150 $400, Third Place $300, and Fourth Place $200.
