TRAHC's 33rd Annual Juried Exhibition

TRAHC's 33rd Annual Juried Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older. The exhibition accepts work in the following media: photography, printmaking, sculpture, aquamedia, oils, fiberarts, collage, intermedia, drawing, and digital. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. No installations or artwork that requires special technical installation or assembly will be accepted. Entries are limited to a maximum of three works executed in the last two years (2019-2021), with a maximum of two pieces of artwork per artist accepted into the exhibit.

The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries, payable by credit card through Callforentry.org. Entries must be submitted online by July 2, 2021 at midnight CST. Image files must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 3 MB maximum. Judging occurs in two phases: initial judging July 5-9, 2021, with results emailed by July 12. Accepted artwork must be received by July 23, 2021 at 3:45 p.m. The exhibit runs from August 6 to September 25, 2021 at TRAHC in Texarkana, Texas. Winners will be announced at the opening reception on August 6 at 7:00 p.m.

Awards include: Yates Collection Purchase Award ($1,000, limited to regional artists), Best of Show ($1,000), First Place ($750), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), and Fourth Place ($200). Accepted artists are responsible for shipping and return shipping costs and insurance. Shipping via FedEx or UPS is mandatory. All accepted artwork must be original, completed, and ready to hang. Two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under Plexiglas (unless pastel, which may be under glass at artist's own risk). All paintings must be framed or gallery wrapped with fully painted edges. Freestanding sculptures must have felt pads attached to the bottom. Any artwork sold incurs a 20% commission. Artwork may not be removed from TRAHC prior to September 28, 2021.
