TRAHC's 31st Annual Juried Exhibition

TRAHC's 31st Annual Juried Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older. The exhibition is generously sponsored by The Yates Foundation. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. No installations or artwork requiring special technical installation or assembly will be accepted. Entries are limited to a maximum of three works executed in the last two years (May 2017 - May 2019). A maximum of two pieces of artwork per artist can be juried into the exhibit. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries, payable by credit card only through Callforentry.org. Entries must be submitted online by midnight CST on June 9, 2019.

Judging occurs in two phases. Initial judging takes place June 10-14, 2019, during which the juror selects artwork for the exhibit. After accepted artwork arrives, the juror views the exhibit in person to select award-winning pieces. Results will be emailed by June 17, 2019. Winners will be announced at the opening reception on July 26, 2019. Accepted work will be exhibited at TRAHC from July 26 - August 24, 2019. All accepted artwork must be received by Saturday, July 12, 2019 at 3:45 p.m.

Awards include: Best of Show ($2000), Yates Collection Purchase Award ($1000), First Place ($750), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), and Fourth Place ($200). Shipping and return shipping costs and insurance are the responsibility of the artist. Reusable shipping containers only; no packing peanuts or glass allowed (except Plexiglas for pastel work). Shipping via FedEx or UPS is mandatory with pre-paid return labels required. Hand delivery is available by appointment with Dr. Becky Black. Any artwork sold incurs a 20% commission.
