TRAHC's 28th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council invites all K-12 students who reside in the Four States Area to participate in the 28th Annual Juried Student Exhibition. Schools can submit a total of 2 pieces of artwork per student. All artwork must be created in the 2019-2020 or 2020-2021 school year. Entries are open to ceramics, drawing, fibers, metals, photography, painting, printmaking, printed computer-generated art/digital art, sculpture, and mixed-media assemblages. Home-school and individual entries are welcome.

Online submissions are due Friday, April 15th, 2021 at 3:45 p.m. via callforentry.org. An entry fee of $25 from each teacher or parent/guardian is required by this date. After jurors select accepted entries from photographs, physical artwork must be delivered by Saturday, May 1st to the Regional Arts Center, 321 West 4th Street, Texarkana, TX 75501. The exhibition runs May 15th through June 26th, 2021. The opening reception is Saturday, May 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with the awards ceremony at 11:45 a.m.

Award winners receive ribbons and cash prizes. High School: Best of Show $100, 1st Place $80, 2nd Place $60, 3rd Place $40. Middle School: Best of Show $70, 1st Place $55, 2nd Place $45, 3rd Place $35. Elementary receives ribbons only. Two exhibiting students from each category will be randomly selected to win an art supply gift bag. All artwork must be original and installation-ready upon delivery. Artwork may be picked up starting Tuesday, June 29th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m., with a deadline of Saturday, July 9th, 2021 before 3:45 p.m. For questions, contact Amanda Langley at [email protected].
