TRAHC's 27th Annual Juried Exhibition

TRAHC's 27th Annual Juried Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older currently residing in the U.S. The exhibition is generously sponsored by E-Z Mart, Inc. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. No photography, video, film, jewelry, installations, or artwork that requires special installation or assembly are accepted. Entries are limited to a maximum of three works executed in the last two years (June 2013 - June 2015). The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries, payable by credit card through Callforentry.org. All fees are non-refundable. Entries must be submitted online through Callforentry.org by midnight MST on May 10, 2015.

Judging occurs in two phases. Initial judging takes place May 12-19, 2015, when the juror selects pieces for acceptance. After all accepted artwork arrives, the juror views the exhibit in person and selects award-winning artwork. Results will be emailed on May 20, 2015. Accepted artwork is due by June 24, 2015 at 3:45 pm. The exhibition runs July 10 - August 8, 2015, with an opening reception on July 10 at 5:30-8 pm and awards presented at 7:30 pm.

Awards include: Yates Collection Purchase Award ($1000), Best of Show ($1000), First Place ($750), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), and Fourth Place ($200). All accepted work must be original, completed, and ready to hang. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality. All paintings must be framed or gallery wrapped. Two-dimensional works on paper must be framed and under Plexiglass. All freestanding sculptures must have felt pads attached to the bottom. Any artwork for sale incurs a 20% commission if sold. Shipping costs and insurance are the artist's responsibility. Artwork may not be removed from TRAHC prior to August 8, 2015. Artwork left more than 30 days after August 8, 2015 will be deemed the property of TRAHC unless arrangements have been made in writing. The juror is Maxine Payne, Associate Professor of Art at Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas.
