TRAHC 30th Annual Juried Exhibition

TRAHC's 30th Annual Juried Exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and older currently residing in the U.S. All work must be original in concept and not copied from another artist's work. No photography, video, film, jewelry, installations or artwork that requires special installation or assembly will be accepted. TRAHC reserves the right to not display excessive nudity or offensive subject matter at the discretion of the Executive Director.

Entries are limited to a maximum of three works executed in the last two years (May 2016 - June 2018), with a maximum of two pieces per artist accepted into the exhibit. The entry fee is $35 for up to three entries, payable by credit card through Callforentry.org. Entries must be submitted online by June 10, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Image files must be JPEG format, no smaller than 1920 pixels on the longest side, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, and 3 MB maximum with no digital enhancement allowed.

Judging occurs in two phases. Initial judging takes place June 11-16, 2018, with results emailed June 18. After accepted artwork arrives, the juror will view the exhibit in person to select award-winning pieces. Winners will be announced at the opening reception on Friday, July 27, 2018. The exhibition runs July 27 - August 25, 2018 at TRAHC. Accepted artwork must be received by July 7, 2018 at 3:45 p.m. Shipping costs and insurance are the artist's responsibility. All shipped artwork must include pre-paid return-shipping labels from FedEx or UPS; no USPS shipments accepted. Hand delivery is available during TRAHC's open hours Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Any artwork sold incurs a 20% commission. Awards include: Yates Collection Purchase Award ($1000), Best of Show ($1000), First Place ($750), Second Place ($500), Third Place ($300), and Fourth Place ($200). The juror is Sean FitzGibbons, MFA, Director of the Meadows Museum of Art at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana.
