Tracks and Tracts

View Art Center in Old Forge, NY seeks works of art in all media exploring the theme of Tracks relating to animal tracks, people tracks, industrial tracks, and what is left behind. Tracks and Tracts investigates the stories written upon the land, whether that be footprints, pathways, skiing, snowshoeing, ski-mobiling, and industrial tracks: railroads, bridges, and winter logging. These subtle remnants reveal what has passed through, lingered behind, and become part of the landscape's memory. The exhibition will feature works in all media, including painting, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, and photography.
