Torpedo Factory Artist Association Annual Membership

Artists must go through an annual jury process and attend an orientation session to become a member of the Torpedo Factory Artist Association (TFAA). All artists working in fine arts and fine crafts are eligible, including ceramics, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, glass, film, video, and more. Upon selection, applicants become TFAA Associate Artists.

Phase I requires submission of 5-8 images of original finished 2D or 3D artwork created in the last two years, plus completion of a question section. The application fee is $75. Successful Phase I applicants will be notified and required to bring 5 original works of art (from the submitted 5-8 images) to the Torpedo Factory on April 3rd, 2017 for Phase II.

Phase II consists of separate panels of 3 jurors for both 2D and 3D work. Applicants must provide a CD with an additional 12-20 images, with two-thirds of the work completed in the last 2 years. Artist resumes and names are not provided to jurors. Work samples may include 5-8 images and 0-3 videos (5-11 total samples minimum).
