Torch Lake Whitefish Fest

This 6th annual early summer art and craft show takes place in downtown Alden at Depot Park, centrally located in northern Michigan on Torch Lake. The event features multiple mediums and has been well attended, marking the kickoff for summer around Torch Lake. Alden has a quaint downtown with an art walk, gift shops and restaurants, and the event sits on top of a bluff where you can walk down to the shoreline. Part of your booth fee includes a donation of your creations (at least $25 in value) to be used for Community Lighthouse food pantry raffle.

The show runs June 7-8, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday) from 10am to 5pm daily. This boutique show features no more than 75 artist/vendors with easy load-in and load-out next to booths. Booth spaces are approximately 10' x 10' on grass. Application fee is $15 before February 1st, $25 after. Booth fee is $250, corner booths $300, double booths $500. Artists are selected through a review by a panel of qualified experts based on skill and quality of work.

Amenities include complimentary bottled water daily, coffee and pastries each morning, free vendor parking, and booth sitters. Categories are capped with no more than 25% jewelry. Accepted categories include ceramics, accessories/clothing, digital art, drawing, fiber, food/gourmet, glass, jewelry, metalwork, mixed media, painting, photography, sculpture, wood, and other. All exhibitor tents must be white and displays must be professional. Setup begins Friday 2pm-7pm and continues Saturday 7am-8:30am.
