About This Call
Topeka Art Guild and Gallery (TAG) is proud to announce its second indoor Fine Art Fair which will take place March 7th and 8th, 2026, at Fairlawn Plaza Mall in Topeka, Kansas. This intimate affair will feature 30 plus juried artists displaying original fine art and fine craft in categories including 2 and/or 3 dimensional mixed media, textile, glass, drawings, ceramics, jewelry, paintings, photography, sculpture, wood, metal/iron and paper/print. Artists will enjoy being indoors with a light catered breakfast and lunch, free parking and admittance, with no weather concerns.
Eligibility requires that only originals of fine art and fine craft comprise the majority of displayed work, created by the exhibiting artist. Reproductions must be signed, numbered, and identified as such. Not eligible are crafted items such as soaps or candles, mass-produced t-shirts and items made from commercial kits or molds. The application fee is $25.00 (non-refundable) and requires 4 high-quality digital images of artwork plus a booth shot, along with a 200-word artist statement. All exhibits must fit within a 10'x10' area, with artists providing their own tent, display, and lighting equipment as no electricity is provided.
Acceptance is based on artwork exhibiting originality, craftsmanship, imaginative use of materials, and aesthetic qualities. Artists must be present during fair hours (Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-4pm) and are responsible for their own sales and Kansas sales tax collection (9.35%). The fair will be widely advertised through local radio, press releases, social media, and other promotional channels. Featured artist Naomi Cashman will have a $750 watercolor raffled on March 8th.
