Timeless

Timeless is an exhibition curated by the AAPL Board of Directors and Guest Juror Del-Bourree Bach, an AAPL Signature Member. The exhibition is open to AAPL members only (Elected Artist, Fellow, Signature, or Life Members in good standing). Associate Artist Members and Young Artist Members are not eligible. Artists must be 18 years of age or older.

Eligible media include oil, acrylic, water media, scratchboard, pastel, drawings, graphics (non-mechanical fine art prints), charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and sculpture. Only contemporary or traditional realist works will be considered. Artwork must be original and not previously exhibited online or in person with AAPL. Giclées, photographs, digital prints, paintings on photos, mechanical prints, and AI- or digitally derived works are not eligible. Fine art prints such as woodblocks, linocut, etchings, monotypes, and engravings will be considered. Framed work may not exceed 40 inches wide. All work must be for sale in U.S. currency.

Entry fees are $50 for the first entry and $20 for each additional entry with no limit to the number of entries submitted, though only one will be accepted. Entries must be submitted through ShowSubmit from June 28, 2025 through August 21, 2025. Digital files should be submitted in JPEG format at 1920 pixels on the longest dimension, 300 pixels per inch, with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Sculptors may include 2 images per artwork. Accepted artists will be notified by email by August 29, 2025. A $30 handling fee in check form (payable to LAA) is required. All 2D artwork must be professionally presented, framed or gallery wrapped with finished edges, wired, and ready to hang. Shipped work must arrive by September 8, 2025. AAPL and the Lyme Art Association receive 30% commission of sales; artists receive 70%. Connecticut sales tax will be collected by LAA.
