About This Call
Photo Art Pavilion invites photographers to participate in 'Through the Lens of Time,' a Virtual Juried Photography Exhibit. Long exposure photography is more than a technique—it's an art form that reveals the passage of time in ways the human eye cannot perceive. This exhibit invites photographers to showcase their mastery of light, motion, and time's ethereal beauty, whether exploring astrophotography, seascapes, urban environments, or experimental abstracts. Accepted works will be displayed in an exclusive online gallery, allowing photographers worldwide to share their vision with an engaged audience of art collectors and photography enthusiasts.
The open call is open to all photographers, emerging and professional. All styles of long-exposure photography are welcome. Juried selections will be based on creativity, composition, and technical excellence. Photographers may submit up to five images per $35 entry fee. All submissions must be free of watermarks or branding, in JPEG/JPG format with the longest edge of 1200 pixels and file size of 5MB or smaller. Only photographically based works depicting long exposure will be considered. Artists must be 18 years or older, and all submitted art must be created by the submitting artist. The entry fee is nonrefundable.
Awards include First Place ($150), Second Place ($125), Third Place ($100), and Honorable Mention ($35). The Virtual Juried Exhibit Reception will be held online on May 7th, 2025, at 7 PM EST via Zoom. The reception will be recorded and posted on the Photo Art Pavilion YouTube Channel. All artists will be notified via email by April 25th, 2025. The online gallery will be available May 2nd, 2025, and displayed on PhotoArtPavilion.com. By submitting, you grant Photo Art Pavilion the right to display selected images on their website and social media platforms, with each image credited with its title and artist's name.
