THROUGH THE LENS

THROUGH THE LENS is an online photography exhibition open to all artists over the age of 18. All styles of photography, all subjects, and all types of photographic manipulation are eligible. Submit 3 to 10 digital images via the CaFE application by Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 10:59pm Pacific Time. The exhibition runs September 26 through November 26, 2021.

The show will be presented as an online presentation in the MSA Virtual Gallery, which will include the price and contact information of the artist. A video version showing all works will also be available and remain viewable after the show closes. A virtual Zoom reception will be held on Sunday, October 10 at 5pm PST. Notification of acceptance will be by email on September 18, 2021, with an online list of accepted artwork posted on the MSA website.

Entry fees: $35 for 3 entries, $7 for each additional entry up to 10 pieces. MSA members receive a discounted rate of $30 for 3 entries. Awards: First Prize $500, Second Prize $300, Third Prize $100, plus three non-monetary Honorable Mention awards at the juror's discretion. Juror: Germán Herrera, photographer and visual artist. No more than 2 works by any one artist will be included in the final selection. Artwork previously shown in an MSA juried exhibition will not be accepted. Digital images must be JPG or JPEG format, 1200 pixels or greater on the longest side, under 5 MB. By submitting work, artists choose to offer their work for sale; contact [email protected] to mark work as "Not for Sale." The artist handles all sales and shipping, with 100% of proceeds going to the artist.
