Through A Child's Eyes

This online competition is open to artists worldwide and accepts pastel paintings only. Eighty percent of the exposed surface must be dry pastel; oil pastels and mixed media are not eligible. Original artwork only—no copies from other artists' work or published work. Artwork created on top of photos or altered photos with pastels added are not eligible. If a photo reference is used, it should be the artist's own; if by another photographer, attribution must be noted and written permission provided if requested. All subjects and styles are eligible except nudes. Works previously exhibited in PSAK shows but that did not win awards may be entered. Work may be for sale or listed as NFS.

Awards include Best of Show ($400), First Place ($300), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). Entries must be submitted through ShowSubmit.com as high-quality JPEG files. Images should be at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Crop images to show only the artwork without matting, frames, or background. Ensure images are oriented correctly and use the sRGB color profile for best results. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the deadline. After submission and payment, you may log back in to review, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images until the entry deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.
