About This Call
The Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) invites photographers worldwide to submit work to Threshold, an open-themed juried biennial photography exhibition. Over 30 images will be selected for display at CPAC, with four cash awards totaling $3,000.
Entry is open to regional, national, and international artists, members and non-members of CPAC. All lens-based media are eligible, including images made by film, scanner, screen-capture, digital camera, and mobile photography. If work using AI is submitted, please note the use of AI in your application. Applicants must submit 3-10 images. Entry fee is $55 for members and $70 for non-members for up to 3 images; $5 for each additional image.
Submission deadline: Friday, September 19, 2025 (midnight, MDT). Acceptance notification: October 16, 2025. Work must be received by Friday, November 14, 2025. Exhibition dates: November 21, 2025 – January 3, 2026. Opening reception: Saturday, November 22, 2025, 5-8pm. Exhibition juror: Karen Haas, Lane Senior Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Awards: First Place $1,500, Second Place $850, Third Place $450, Honorable Mention $200.
