About This Call
Thornback Gallery presents a juried exhibition "Fractures and Repair" open to all artists aged 18 and older. All media are accepted including painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Work must be original and created within the last four years, ready to hang or professionally presented. Artists may submit up to 2 pieces for consideration with an entry fee of $30.
Awards include Best in Show ($300), Second Place ($200), and Third Place ($100). The juror is Kreneshia (Kren The Curator), an arts advocate and founder of Culture & Co. Museum who has worked with renowned artists and been credited by Essence Magazine and the Tennessee Association of Museums. All work must be available for sale during the exhibition, with the gallery retaining a 20% commission on sold pieces.
The exhibition runs January 16 - February 15, 2026, with an opening reception on Friday, February 6 from 6-8pm. Artists outside the Greenville, SC area are responsible for artwork delivery and return shipping costs. Notification of acceptance will be emailed January 5, 2026, with accepted work due at the gallery (201 Smythe Street Ste H, Greenville, SC 29611) by January 11, 2026.
