THIS LAND

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to THIS LAND, an online exhibition celebrating landscape and nature. The theme explores how landscapes—from ocean waves sculpting cliffs to mountains shaped by the earth's crust—inspire artistic expression. Artists are invited to share their perspective of this land through their work.

Submissions are open to artists worldwide, both amateur and professional, working in all fine art mediums including oil, acrylic, watermedia, pastel, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, photography, sculpture, fiber, wood, ceramics, film/video, and digital art. AI-generated work will not be accepted. Work that has been previously selected for Art Fluent exhibits or work copied or done under instructor guidance is not eligible. Diptychs and triptychs should be uploaded as a single image.

Entry fee is $25 for the first entry and $10 for each additional entry, with a maximum of 20 total submissions. Payment is non-refundable and does not guarantee acceptance. For 3D work, there is no need to pay for additional entries for detail shots. Submissions must include 1-20 total samples (images and/or videos). Images must be in JPEG/JPG format, 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side, maximum 5 MB. Accepted video formats include MOV, MP4, WMV with aspect ratio 4:3 or 16:9, resolution minimum 640x480, maximum 1920x1080, file size under 100 MB.

JPEGs are due by Friday, July 12, 2024 at midnight MST. Notification of acceptance and online gallery opening will be by Friday, August 9, 2024. All accepted pieces will be displayed in the online gallery at www.art-fluent.com. Awards include Best of Show ($750) and two Director's Choice awards ($250 each). The show is curated and juried by Creative Director Amy Matteson Neill along with an anonymous committee of jurors. No personal feedback is given by jurors. For artwork sold, artists receive 100% of the sale. A portion of entry fee proceeds is donated to organizations committed to the arts and supporting artists.
